Farnbacher Racing started in the ADAC GT Masters from 2011 until 2014. In the debut year Dominik Farnbacher competed with Niclas Kentenich in a Ferrari 458 Italia GT3. The duo scored eight top ten finishes, was three times on the podium and got their first win in Assen, Netherlands.
They ended the season as fifth in the drivers championship.
In 2012 the team tried to live up to earlier successes. In 16 races Mario Farnbacher and Niclas Kentenich reached five podium finishes and got the first Pole Position for a Ferrari in the series.
Just before the two races on the Red Bull Ring (Austria) the team replaced the Ferrari with a Porsche 911 GT3 and won the second race of the weekend. They ended the season on position 13.
One year later Farnbacher Racing competed with three Porsche 911 GT3 R and started the season very successfully. After the first two races in Oschersleben Mario Farnbacher and Philipp Frommenwiler were leading the championship. Lots of action-packed races followed, the duo scored 12 top ten and three podium finishes. Farnbacher Racing ended the season as eighth in the team championship and won the amateur class championship together with Christina Nielsen.
In 2014 Farnbacher Racing brought two Porsche 911 GT3 R to the ADAC GT Masters competition. Mario Farnbacher and Nathan Morcom shared the cockpit of the Porsche #5, Sebastian Asch and Philipp Frommenwiler shared the #6. It was a tough last year for the franconian team before they headed to the VLN with the Lexus in 2015.
